Be Broadband Mixes

Online gaming can be a fantastic experience, with great players having closely fought matches on fast servers. But very often the reality is far from this, half empty severs lagging, along with abusive or disruptive players and even if you do find a good mixing server with plenty of players, some fool will be joining then leaving three rounds later and ruining everyone’s day.
We’re all gamers at TNWA and we believe that secure, fast and free game servers should be available to all, and our brand new “Mixes” system can give you the gaming experience you want.
Our “Mixes” system run in partnership with Be Broadband is the fastest way to create a Counter-Strike:Source match environment, with team management & map selection at the players control, full after match reporting and detailed statistics it’s a great way to play or practice.
Fast Servers– Not only are our servers packed with the latest technology, they’re set-up by gamers who know how to get the best from your favourite game. No worries about lag, all our servers are 100 tick to ensure you can play your best possible game.
Secure – say goodbye to noobs with Aimbots, all our gamers can use the Karma system to report give feedback on players who cheat and/or spoil the gaming experience. Coming soon will be X-ray integration, the best free to use anti-cheat technology with over 1,000 cheats caught and banned in the last 10 months, it’s making gaming a better place.
Prizes – you don’t have to be pro to earn money from gaming, we’ll be awarding a number of prizes every week to reward different types of play and skills. Maybe it’s most headshots or knife kills, whatever your style of play, whatever weapon you like to use, there will be a prize for you to win every week.
Statistics – Think your better than your mate, well prove it with our detailed in game statistics. From kills, damage done and favourite weapon there’s all sorts of information to track how well you do.
Karma – any game is only as good as the people you play with, after any game you’ll be able to rate your fellow players. You can reward good play with glowing praise or perhaps mention that a fellow player maybe shouldn’t TK so often or leave the game halfway through. Players who receive a high level of negative feedback from will receive a suspension, from 24hrs to permanent depending on the severity of the activity.
FREE! – yes that’s right, it’s completely free. For the first weeks were are running the beta test we have opened the beta up to any member who is currently on a Be Broadband package. As soon as the beta is over this system will be completely free for everyone to use. |

Eurokrieg Underway
August 26th 2008
The much anticipated Eurokrieg League got under way a couple of weeks back with 64 of the best teams in Europe battling it out for glory, we’re looking forward to great battles over the coming weeks and already haven’t been disappointed. Some people might be thinking the real games wont start until the knockout stages but there have been some fantastic games in the first weeks of play.
Already we’ve had two 15-15 results from Group 3 (UBITEAM v oXmoze ) and Group 4 (bomk v BHK), both epic games that we’ll be getting the demo’s of shortly. We’ve also had some good old fashioned ass-whuppin going on with Ronjin suffering a 29-1 beating at the hands of Logitech.fi and n!faculty delivering a 26-4 smack down on KomaCrew, both those losing teams are going to have to get their heads right for the next matches to have a hope of getting through this stage of competition.
Speaking to Adjet of AIMAZING after their close and exciting game against AFTERLIFE*ULTIMAT, I managed to get a quick few questions from him.
BigDog “What are your thoughts on the game and the competition going forward”
Adjet "OK, our thoughts and goals in Eurokrieg is first of all that it’s a great initiative by Enemydown and the sponsors to put up this kind of event with a lot of great teams, Our goal is pretty simple I guess. It’s of course our goal to win the event, but at least go and play the best the team can and end up where we will have no regrets in our performance”
BigDog “your first game was very close, do you expect it to be this hard all the way through?”
Adjet “ I hope not, because I’m not looking to get a heart attack.”
BigDog “there were some very heavy losses in the other rounds, what do you think of the level of competition overall”
Adjet “We have some great teams in our group, but at the same time there are some teams we know will be an easy win, but 3-4 of the teams we’ll need to play at our best to get a spot in the play-offs”
BigDog " and what are your impressions of Enemydown and the admins so far”
Adjet “Only positive imo, great of support when we need it "

New TF2 Arena Ladder Launches!

We here at EnemyDown have always tried to be one step ahead of everyone when it comes to the best games.
So it gives me great pleasure to announce that EnemyDown are the first league/ladder site to launch a ladder based on the latest mode added to TF2, Arena.
TF2 Arena keeps the class diversity of Team Fortress 2 while focusing goals around combat between two teams. Where other game modes lean towards a broad overall strategy for the team over a number of lives, Arena concentrates on the specific tactical choices the teams make in a single fight.
Arena features smaller maps that play out in shorter periods of time. The round ends once one team has no players left in the arena, or when the central capture point has unlocked and been captured. Rounds tend to be very fast and highly competitive, with an emphasis on your team’s class makeup and your plan to counter the opposing team’s class choices. Arena mode is great for smaller matches of three vs. three players, while still comfortably supporting huge knockdown twelve-on-twelve brawls.

COD4L & COD4L:HC Signups Open

Signups are now open to the second season of COD4L and the new Hardcore league.
Signups will be open till the 8th of September and games kick off on the 15th for each league. Please note that EDCOD4L will now be using the latest version of ProMod instead of Pam4. The latest version may be found at www.cod4promod.com

ED:CS 1.6 Prize Events Announced!

The ED:CS Events Team are pleased to announce Three more prize events for your enjoyment.
The first of these events is The Annihilation Cup. This will use a World Cup format, starting with a league and finishing with a single elimination cup. The total Prize Fund for this event is £300.
