The first cup "CS:GO" will be a 1 night cup only consisting of De_dust2_csgo on Wednesday 14th March. Teams that sign up and play in this event without defaulting are more likely to be picked for the next CS:GO event,
Which leads me right on to event number 2.

"CS:GO Spring Formal" will be a Sunday night event consisting of 4 rounds that starts on the 11th March and finishes on the 25th.

WAIT RIGHT THERE!!! Enemy Down is alive, and there are big plans round the corner.

Our first two cups of 2012, have been brought out, for Tuesday Nights, you can be entertained by the filler between EDCSSL Season's with the Fair Shake League, which at present is open to 24 teams, and this is an event where you are placed into a group of 6, you play 5 weeks of fantastic maps, and then go into VETO for the cup stages. Everyone goes through to a cup, Top 2 go through to Cup A, Middle 2 go through to Cup B, and then the Bottom 2 go through to Cup C. This takes place from February 7th and will run through to the end of March, and will take place on Tuesday Nights at 9pm. A perfect filler for EDCSSL, and something to keep your team ticking over.

Our other Cup "A Totally Milky Sundae 6" which is a single elimination 32 team cup, and will take place on Sunday Nights at 8pm. A pefect filler for your sunday nights.

The Oldest & Most Prestigious League is back and is counting down the days to our special 20th Birthday (& Enemy Down's 10th Birthday), however we are on the Nineteenth Season, and we are very proud to announce our new Season. This will serve as a perfect warm up to the BIG 20 and what a cracker Season 19 should be.

This Season will be open to 78 teams accross 13 divisions, playing out over 6 weeks accross November, December & January. There are no major changes from last season, however re-signs are in effect, so if you were a team in Season 18, and re-sign up for Season 19, you will be automatically accepted into EDCSSL Season 19. For any spaces left there will be a warm up cup prior to Season 19 which will be for teams who are new to EDCSSL and did NOT play in Season 18, this is to make sure you are reliable, and teams who do not "sign up for the hell of it".

Also for Season 19 as a minor warm-up to our big 20, we have partnered up with GamerFM who will be sponsoring the event with 13 servers to give away to each of the division winners as a bonus for winning your division and getting promoted. Each division winner will have a brand spanking new server loaded up with the GamerFM Radio Plugin for 3 months. Along with that GamerFM will be dedicating an hour each week to EDCSSL related stuff which will be host to guests from each of the divisions, certain panelists and you will be able to hear the latest news and rumours from your division on GamerFM. If asked to upload you have 3 days to do so, teams then have a further 4 more days to review povs and accept the result/conflict the game.

Stv must still be used and uploaded upon request same time frame applies as for povs 3 days to upload 4 to review accept/conflict. For it's 18th installment, the longest running UK League is back with a bang, and this time with some major changes. Some people will be happy at these changes, and some will not, thats the nature of life really. These changes had to be made, to make the season much better for everyone involved. Here is the list of changes:

*Pre-Season Cup, Groups of 4, 3 weeks (& 1 week for catch up)
*Re-Signs are not applicable for Season 18 only.
*Divisions are down to 6 teams per division, which makes the season 6 weeks long (including catch up week)
*There will be no reschedules allowed, it is TUESDAY 9pm without fail, however we will be allowing Wildcards (upto # allowed).

Whilst some changes will bring around the usual "OMG ADMINS SUCK FOR DOING THIS", our reasons are down to helping EDCSSL restore itself and we hope the community can understand this, previous seasons have seen teams take the mick slightly with rescheduling every game, and even some reschedules have not been played out by the end of the season, which is not helpful for teams & admins.

The Pre-Season Cup is ONLY for Season 18, and will not happen after this season, so think of this as a big refresh and spring clean of EDCSSL, so that we sort the men from the boys! There will be a 2 week break between the Pre-Season Cup & EDCSSL so that we can sort out teams appropiately.

• XRay mandatory-If you can not run xac for any reason then you are not permitted to compete (plz pm ^wilma if you need to run sglac instead of xac)
• Friendly fire on
• Knifes to decide teams
• 35 second bomb timer where applicable
• Maps to be run with the standard "EDCZ Mr15" event config
• Russian Walking is NOT permitted
• Game bugs - Taking advantages of map bugs is not allowed
• Pausing - Pausing on the server will be enabled. Games should only be paused at the very start of a round and should last no more than 4 minutes.
• Demos - HLTV demos should be taken, where unavailable each player must take a personal demo
• No show - In the event of a no show a default score will be awarded to the other team
• First clan to 16 rounds wins.
• 1 awp per team.
• No auto-snipers permitted.
• No shields permitted.
